Coint Co. was born at the end of 2021 with the fusion of ideas from three passionate persons about the world of collectible coins and cryptocurrencies.
An engineer in the UK, a Brazilian physician and a Brazilian professional designer came up with the idea of making a collectible precious metal coin that would be backed by an electronic store of value, Bitcoin.
The goal was to create a product that would bring together the past and future of currency exchange. During human history, the backing of metals like gold and silver as a medium of exchange has taken place for several years and more recently Blockchain technology has brought new possibilities in the global economic dynamics.
We wanted to create a product with high added value and if presented to someone, that person would automatically be investing in a precious metal and a precious code registered on the blockchain. It is an indirect way of bringing more supporters to the crypto world by having a very high quality collectible coin with a lot of history involved in its creation.
